The Alien race, known as the
Zerg, are infesting the universe faster
than any other universal race can stop them! The race, known as Protoss,
has been assimulated into the Zerg Overmind ruled by the infested
Boy! Now the zerg plan to inherit the Terran Homeworld.
Begining
on the planet of mars, the Zerg will infest the colony
of Terrans based there, then the Zerg plan to invade the Moon shutting down the
Earth's
defense force field by disabling the Terran Mainframe Computer!
From
the Moon
the Zerg must defeat the Terran Battle Star to gain entry to the
Earths surface. If the Zerg can defeat the great terran ship,
then they will attempt to infest the capitol of Earth itself...
Terra Prime!
Scenario
Information:
The Dad vs. Boy
scenario is the most awesome adventure into starcraft™ that I,
and my son, have created to play together; we play using a PC
Direct Connection.
My Son, Boy, (age 9 at
the time of this writing), plays the Zerg, and I, Dad, (age 31
at the time of this writing), play the Terrans. These scenarios
were created to have the most fun my son and I could have
playing the game of Starcraft, while providing a challenge for
both of us to the maximum extent, with an awesome Role Playing
story line to accompany the game play.
This 2 player scenario was created with children in mind, and is
recommended for the ages of 9 and up. I have seen a lot of
scenarios on the Internet, but nothing for children. I know that
Starcraft has a rating of mature / teen, yet my son is
definitely mature enough to handle a game of this type.
To him, Starcraft is
just another game of chess, and the animated violence is just
another cartoon, that he realizes is an illusion of fantasy! If
you think that your child can't handle this scenario, by all
means,
don’t play it with them, please use discretion and common sense,
after all, it is you who knows your child best. Furthermore, I
will not be held personally responsible for how this scenario
affects anyone.

Starts easy for children, and progressively gets harder. (As
long as the child plays Zerg. Feel free to modify to suite the
child’s needs. Don’t forget to play the Scenario in order).

fn: I have
notice that the beginning music in the scenario seems to play
alongside the Starcraft CD music, yet it did not happen until
after I installed other Starcraft Modifications. So if you have
that problem, simply turn down the music volume in options
before game play.
This Game Scenario requires Starcraft®, and the
Brood War® Expansion from Blizzard Entertainment to play
